New Plant Manager Named at Lonza Riverside

Conshohocken, Pa., October 22, 2007 – Lonza Inc., a manufacturer of fine chemicals and intermediates for the pharmaceutical industry, has named Ted Dolan manager of the Lonza Riverside plant here. As plant manager, Dolan ensures Lonza Riverside produces high-quality products to meet its customers’ needs while operating in a safe and environmentally sound manner.

Previously, Dolan worked for 24 years at Johnson Matthey, an international specialty chemicals company, in many capacities, most recently serving as director of operations for the pharmaceutical site in West Deptford, N.J.

“I am excited to be a part of Lonza’s mission to be a world class supplier, while continuing our commitment to be a responsible neighbor and good corporate citizen in the community,” said Dolan. “The Lonza Riverside team is exceptional, and I’m proud to be a part of it.”

Dolan received a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from Notre Dame University, a Master of Business Administration in production management and finance from St. Joseph’s University and an executive management degree in lean manufacturing from the University of Michigan.

He has two daughters and is expecting his third daughter in October. He lives in Doylestown, Pa.
