A Community Advisory Panel (CAP) is a group of individuals that represent
the makeup of their community and who have made a commitment to meet
with the management of the local plant on a regular basis to discuss
issues of mutual interest.
CAP members act as a conduit for communication - bringing the concerns
of the community to the plant in order to create an open and honest
relationship built on mutual respect and trust.
A CAP is an independent body - not controlled by the plant or the
chemical industry.
